| First impressions are crucial not only in real life but also on the internet. Take some time and try to give a complete description of yourself. Describe yourself through your interests, hobbies, your favourite foods, music and music. Make sure you include pictures of yourself as people always like to see a face to the profiles. I assure you that you will 10 times more people contacting you. |

| 1B) Deleting Your Profile |
| Once you have deleted your profile, the profile is completely deleted from our system. We do not keep any information on you or your pictures like other large social networking sites. |

| The Profile page illustrates a summary of your personal details and your uploaded pictures (View). |

| Pictures show on my profile is not available to users unless you have allowed other users to view them through the My Photo function (Please refer to My Photo link). |

| The My Matches page creates a list of thumbnail pictures of users that are a potential matches for your area. |

| The VIEWED ME page shows you all of the users that have viewed your profile. |

| 4 ONLINE NOW |
| |
| The ONLINE NOW page shows you all of the current users online for you to get an immediate response. |

| 5 SEARCH |
| |
The SEARCH function allows you to browse for users using BASIC, ADVANCED and by specific USER SEARCH.
BASIC- this function allow the user to use basic search criteria.
ADVANCED- this function allow you to search for users by setting more specific criteria’s such as ethnicity and income level.
User Search- this feature allows you to search for a specific user by typing in their user name. During the search if the entry of the user name does not result in a ‘find’ then you might have entered the incorrect user name or the user has deleted their profile. |

| The Rating page is a fun category that allows you to view and rate their pictures. You are able to also monitor acceptance of the picture by helping the Oceans of People staff by selecting one of the buttons where the picture does not meet the accepted requirements. |

You are able to post anyone of the TOPICS created by the administration team.
New Discussion- As a user you are able to added a New Discussion under the main heading and have responses by other users.
SPAM- Where users have identified inappropriate material that is offense, the administration team will be notified and your profile might be deleted. |

| The Chemistry Assessment has been especially designed to capture the most important characteristics and values for achieving a successful and relationship. The assessment measure has been designed by professionals to capture the three most important dimensions in a relationship from a possible 12 dimensions. These three dimensions include: |

| It’s important to note that Chemistry Assessments or Personality Assessments are only a tool to narrow down your search. These tests do not measure physical attraction which is a factor for most people when selecting a partner. As well, Chemistry and Personality assessments are not able to measure cultural differences. While Online Dating transcends geographic boundaries and cultures, it is unable to measure the differences that people bring when responding to each question due to their cultural influences and upbringing. |

| 12 Deleting Old Messages |

| You are able to delete old messages yourself or the system will automatically delete the messages after 3 months. |

| |
| If you are missing messages, this is because the person who had contacted you is no longer active on our system and the profile has been deleted. |

| 15 MAIL SETTINGS |

| This feature allows you to narrow down the number of people contacting you. Remember though by implementing this feature you could be possibly missing some really good possibilities. I suggest use these features sparingly. |

| You are able to hide your profile by selecting Hide on the Profile Edit page. This will not let other users see your profile. |

| 16 MYPHOTO |

| This page has two main functions: Upload/ Edit Images and Share Private Photo |
| Upload/Edit Images: |
| On this page you are able to upload pictures by: |
| |
| Clicking on the Browse Button and then selecting the file to be uploaded |
| Make sure the chosen file to be upload is 300 x 300 Dpi. If the file is not this size it will not load. You can resize your photos through your photo software or go to your nearest computer or copy store and they will do this for you. |
| Once you selected the picture then press UPLOAD IMAGE. |
| A cropping feature will be display of your picture. Move the small box on the part of the picture that you want to be focused and displayed as the image. The most appropriate place to move the box to is on your face. |

Public - if you select Public by placing a check mark in the box means that this picture is available to the public. If you do not select Public and leave the box unchecked then this image is set as Private and on body is able to view your pictures.
Rate - If you select this text box, then your users will be able to rate your picture in the Rating section of the site.
Set as Main - If you select this feature, then this become your main picture on your profile and is also display as a thumbnail.
Comments - This lets you add a comment to each of your pictures that you upload on to your profile. |

| Share My Photo |

| I have especially developed this feature to ensure that you have as much control over your photos as possible. Instead of sending your image through mail, you are able to invite users to see your photos by simply typing their user name. As long as you are comfortable with them viewing your photos you can have them active, however, when you decide that ‘time is up’ then simply delete their access. By deleting their access the user no longer has access to any of your photos. |

| Why should I add my photograph to my profile? |

| By adding pictures to your profile pretty much guarantees that you will be getting responses from other people. If you want to get more responses and more possible matches add your picture. Make sure you’re having fun and a great smile. |
| While uploading my photograph, I saw three options called .JPG, .GIF and .PNG What do they mean? |
| To upload a picture, your image can not be larger than 5mb or 300 by 300 dpi. Try to have your pictures fit these ratios in order for the picture to not be stretched or present a false representation of what you really look like. |
| Are there any special tips & tricks to make my digital photo look good? |
| There are simple tips to make your pictures look better. Make sure that you have good lighting and that your pictures are clear and easy to see. |

| 17 Adding Your Favourite Profiles |

| This features allows you to save your favourite people to contact them on a later date. The people who you select to become your favourites are also able to see that you have selected them as a Favourite. |

| 18 My Date Night |
| |
| My Date Night allows you to profile yourself to others who might be interested in getting together for a date. Each week, the list is cleared to ensure there is an active list of people who are looking for a dating for the upcoming weekend. |

| User Name and/or Password |

| In the event you forget your user name and/or password, after several tries you will be sent to a Forget the Pass Word page where you will be requested to enter you email. One you have entered your email the user name and password will be sent to your email address. |

| Email Notifications |

| This feature allows you to receive email notifications from Oceans of People on special events or even a gathering of unique people. We have designed this site as not a dating site but as a site for you to network and meet people who you would not otherwise have met through your current networks. |
